- FOR MORE INFORMATION CONTACT:Andrea Battaglia, (443)867-2935 The GUADRAIL weapon system team requests providing RESET, Repair and technical under urgency conditions in support of the GUARDRAIL AGE van. The 1st of 4 has been completed. This effort is specifically for the 2nd AGE van. All modification and technical changes were made under a previous contract. Responders to this MR must show they are able to demonstrate knowledge of the work done on the 1st van and that they have long lead parts on hand. Support will include all work required to complete all the modifications, prepare and to repair and ship the vehicle upon completion. The work is scheduled to begin in March 2011 and be completed within a period of 6 months. Time is of the essence so only those contractors with the knowledge to begin and complete the tasks in that timeframe will be considered. All interested parties considering submission in support of this request for technical support should submit a white paper no greater than 10 pages in length and should include at a minimum the following information: 1) Provide evidence of the contractor's facilities and experience with type of testing. 2) Provide evidence of past performance on this specific requirement. This documentation may be mailed to US Army, Commander CECOM LCMC, IEWSD-ILS-IAC, Building 6006, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD 21005 to the attention of Andrea Battaglia. Documentation may also be sent to electronic address andrea.battaglia1@us.army.mil. To be considered as part of the market research documentation should be received no later than 11 February 2011. No phone inquiries will be accepted either as a response to this action or for information or questions prior to submission of your response. All requests for information must be in writing to the addresses above. All responses and inquires must be from company who can perform the work directly, we will not consider contractors offering to sub-contract the effort or from management companies inquiring for other contractors. The government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this synopsis. Respondent firms should indicate whether or not they are a small business.
