Description
The purpose of this market survey is to identify to the Government potential sources interested in this procurement as either the prime contractor or a subcontractor. This is a sources sought market survey for sustainment services and support to be provided for Enterprise Level asset visibility of U.S. Army tactical fuel accounting and inventory data utilizing DoD licensed software; Varec, Inc.'s (an SAIC company) FuelsManager Defense, hereafter referred to as Tactical FMD (TFMD). The contractor will work in partnership with the AMC Project Manager. The Army will host the Enterprise Server and provide Tier I Help Desk support for this enterprise server. Contractor services shall include data management, database maintenance, Tier I, II & III Help Desk support, systems engineering, and training to establish Tactical FMD as the accounting tool in the Area of Responsibility (AOR) in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). Tactical FMD services must be compatible with current DLA/DESC FuelsManager Defense application and any future modifications, upgrades or enhancements. The Scope of Work will be to provide all services required to sustain TFMD software application on Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) with all supporting services to ensure data, as posted by Army units, is available for Enterprise visibility, retrievable by AMC Project Manager via Service Orientation Architecture (SOA) framework, and personnel are trained adequately on TFMD to utilize as the Army system of record for petroleum inventory management. This contract will establish the requirements for a base contract of one year, with three one year options.
