Description
The U.S. Army, Army Contracting Command (ACC), Joint Munitions & Lethality(JM&L) Contracting Center, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, is contemplating award of Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) with the US Government. Interested sources should be capable of providing repair, maintenance and installation services for propellant processing equipment. Parts to be repaired, maintained, or installed include, but are not limited to, mixer walls, mixer blades, blade shaft packings, blade shaft seals, gear/drive couplings, thermocouples, hydraulic press seal/packings, press rams/ ram heads, adapter/inserts to press equipment, hydraulic controls, hydraulic motors/pumps, vacuum pumps and parts, gages, heaters/ chillers, thermocouples, punching/cutter parts, extrusion dies, pin plates, gaskets and parts for control systems. In addition, other specific equipment will include hydraulic extrusion presses, propellant mixers, heater/chillers, conditioning chambers, roll mills, ball mills, mixer bay ventilation systems, exhaust fans for laboratory hoods, ovens, mixers, cutters and other peripheral accessories. All maintenance activities shall be performed at Picatinny Arsenal, unless otherwise directed. The Government may enter into one or multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) as a result of this notice. This notice is set-aside to small business concerns. TELEPHONE INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The Government will accept written questions by email only. Submittals and questions should be directed to the following point of contact: US Army Contracting Command, Attn. Matthew Endrizzi, CCJM-JA, Bldg. 10, Picatinny, NJ 07806-5000, or via email at matt.endrizzi@us.army.mil. Closing date for this notice is 14 February 2011 at 4PM EST. Note, this notice does not constitute a formal Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quote (RFQ), nor will the Government be issuing a formal RFP/RFQ as this is a Blanket Purchase Agreement. In addition, the Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this notice.
