- Notice Concerning Solicitation Solicitation SF1449 Wisdom Federal Court of Appeals Generator Statment of Work (SOW) AT THE JOHN MINOR WISDOM U.S. 5 TH CIRCUIT COURT OF APPEALS BUILDING, 600 CAMP STREET, NEW ORLEANS, LA, THE FOLLOWING REPAIRS ARE REQUIRED IN TWO PARTS. THE EMERGENCY GENERATOR HAS A REAR ENGINE SEAL LEAK. THE LEAK MUST BE REPAIRED TO PREVENT DAMAGE, AND POSSIBLY CATASTROPHIC FAILURE, TO THE EMERGENCY GENERATOR. THE EMERGENCY GENERATOR PROVIDES EMERGENCY POWER TO CRITICAL BUILDING SYSTEMS IN THE EVENT OF A CITY ELECTRICAL POWER OUTAGE. REPAIR OF THE EMERGENCY GENERATOR WILL ENSURE OPTIMUM CAPABILITY, IN THE EVENT OF A POWER OUTAGE, TO MAINTAIN CRITICAL BUILDING SYSTEMS. THE EMERGENCY GENERATOR HAS A COOLANT LEAK ON THE RADIATOR CORE. THIS IS THE THIRD LEAK WE HAVE HAD ON THE RADIATOR CORE IN THE PAST TWO YEARS. THE LEAK MUST BE REPAIRED TO PREVENT DAMAGE, AND POSSIBLY CATASTROPHIC FAILURE, TO THE RADIATOR AND PARTICULARLY THE EMERGENCY GENERATOR. THE EMERGENCY GENERATOR PROVIDES EMERGENCY POWER TO CRITICAL BUILDING SYSTEMS IN THE EVENT OF A CITY ELECTRICAL POWER OUTAGE. THIS IS PARTICULARLY CRITICAL DURING HURRICANE SEASON. REPAIR OF THE EMERGENCY GENERATOR RADIATOR WILL ENSURE OPTIMUM CAPABILITY, IN THE EVENT OF A POWER OUTAGE, TO MAINTAIN CRITICAL BUILDING SYSTEMS. Please see attached Statement of work for details. INSTRUCTIONS TO CONTRACTORS CONCERNING BEST VALUE FACTORS The following technical best value factors, when combined, are significantly more important than price, and are hereby listed in descending order of importance. The Government may award the task order based on initial quotes received: Contractor must schedule a site visit to assure equipment compatibility for the quotes in order to avoid unknown conditions when the job begins. (No attendance will mean that the contractor is not interested in the project and will not be considered.) Provide 3 job related work experience references that are similar to scope to this requirement. These references will also be used for performance feedback. If using subcontractors or teaming with another contractor, please provide 3 job related work experience references that are similar to scope to this requirement also. Above references shall be within the last 12 months. Contractor shall supply current contact name, email address and phone number for references. Provide all licenses and certifications for technicians. This includes any subcontractors and/or teaming contract schedule holders.
