Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta GA, VISN 7, contemplates negotiation of a sole source procurement with Cardinal Health Alaris Products, 10221 Wateridge Circle, San Diego, CA 92121-2772, for Guardrail Suite License and Optimization Services for Alaris PC units and modules, located at the Dorn VA Medical Center, 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC 29209. The period of performance for this procurement will be November 12, 2010 through November 11, 2011. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 325412 with a size standard of 750 employees. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature, detailing how their products/services meet VA requirements, to the Contracting Officer no later than February 7, 2011; by 12:00pm EST. Documents shall be emailed to Brad.nelson@va.gov. Based on the responses received, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with source negotiations. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
