Sources Sought Questionnaire Solicitation Number: FA4800-633RD A&E RFI Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). The 633d Contracting Squadron, Langley AFB, Virginia is seeking the interest of potential and eligible contractors for multiple award Architect-Engineer (AE) services for an open-end, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. This is a Sources Sought announcement; a market survey for written information only. The purpose of this sources sought is to find interested Architect-Engineering businesses to include, small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, women-owned small business, and 8(a) small business at Langley AFB, Fort Eustis and surrounding federal installations. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) associated with the aformentioned requirement is 541310. A Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract is contemplated and the period of performance will cover a one-year basic ordering period with four one-year option periods. Civil/Structural Services for indefinite delivery type contracts for the design and investigation of construction projects on Langley AFB, Fort Eustis and surrounding federal installations in Virginia. The following engineering and architectural services will be required: The primary engineering services are Architectural and Mechanical. Multiple awards will require disciplines which include architectural with supporting civil, structural, mechanical and electrical and mechanical with supporting civil, architectural, structural, and electrical. Services include, but are not limited to, investigation reports, preliminary cost estimates, design analysis, contract drawings, contract specifications, construction cost estimates, color boards, schedule of material submittals, and bid schedules, studies, investigations, training, CADD/GIS, and other services. The successful firm(s) in either category are expected to have the capability to perform 50% or more of the contracted services using their in-house personnel and the capability for a professional Engineer in the appropriate discipline, licensed in the State of Virginia shall stamp all contract drawings. All responses are requested to indicate if they are a small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a) concern, women-owned small business, or HUB zone small business. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for potential award (www.ccr.gov). PLEASE NOTE: This information is for market research not a Request for Proposal, or solicitation or an indication that the government will contract for this requirement. No funds have been dedicated to this effort at this time. This office will also use the information to develop a list of interested subcontractors. Unless otherwise notified in writing by the submitter, the Government will consider all information received in response to this Request for Information as non-proprietary.
