Item 3) 200 Ohm Sensing Element, Probe Length (22.0) inches Qty:3, Unit EA. Item 4) 200 Ohm Sensing Element, Probe Length (12.0) inches Qty:2, Unit: EA.Item 5) 200 Ohm Sensing Element, Probe Length (10.0) inches Qty:3 Unit: EA. Item 6) 200Ohm Sensing Element, Probe Length (8.0) inches Qty: 3, Unit: EA. Item 7) 200 Ohm SensingElement, Probe Length, (6.0) inches Qty: 3, Unit EA.NASA/KSC intends to purchase the items from Scientific Instrument. Scientific InstrumentsInc, 1000 Ohm Aerospace Temperature Probes have been qualified to the requirementsspecified in the 79K03040 specification.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local timeon February 19th, 2011. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely forthe purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitivebasis.A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a fulland open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within thediscretion of the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.Christopher.Zuber@nasa.gov NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
