Attendees will board a bus at the museum for transportation onto Robins AFB. RFP Amendment 0001 is hereby posted. 1 Feb 2011: THE TIME FOR THE ORGANIZED SITE VISIT IS CHANGED FROM 10:00 A.M. EASTERN TO 1:00 P.M. EASTERN WEDNESDAY, 9 FEBRUARY 2011. The Past Performance Information Sheets from Section L have been uploaded in Word format for offeror's convenience. 24 Jan 2011: The solicitation, performance work statement and attachments are hereby released. Please note, there will be a SINGLE SITE VISIT on Wednesday 9 February 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time. ALL INTERESTED PARTIES MUST REGISTER FOR THE SITE VISIT. See Section L of the RFP for contact information to register. The Charleston District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers plans to issue a solicitation for facilities maintenance and preventive maintenance support services for DLA Distribution facilities located at Robins AFB, Warner Robins GA. This procurement is a competitive 8(a) set aside under the SBA/DoD 8(a) Partnership Agreement, and will be limited to only SBA certified 8(a) concerns. The associated NAICS code is 561210 with a size standard of $35.5 million in average annual revenue. The Government will use a Best Value, Price/Performance Tradeoff in the proposal evaluation process. The evaluation factors will be issued in the solicitation. It is anticipated that a firm, fixed-priced contract will result, with a duration of one base year and one option year. DLA Distribution Warner Robins (DDWG) is a combat support agency and the Defense Logistics Agency's lead center for distribution. DDC sites around the globe receive, store, package, preserve, and transport more than 4 million items to support the war fighter. DDWG is comprised of 20 buildings totaling 3.0 million square feet. DDWG distributes supplies to all branches of the military at locations all around the world. More than half the logistics work completed at DDWG is in support of the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center. The $12 billion inventory at DDWG includes parts and equipment for F-15, C-130, C-5 and C-17 aircraft, target acquisition systems, and most airborne electronic warfare systems. The Contractor shall perform inspection, maintenance, repair, alteration, demolition and minor construction for the following: Buildings: Electrical, Structural (overhead Doors, Fire Doors, Dock Levelers). Building Systems : HVAC, Fire Protection. Preventive Maintenance consists primarily of inspection, testing, cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, calibration, and minor part and component replacement (such as filters, batteries, belts, hoses, fluids, oil and grease) as required to verify proper system operation; minimize malfunction, breakdown, and deterioration of systems and equipment; and maximize useful life. Work may also be accomplished via service calls. Service calls are classified as emergency or routine work requests. Service calls are called into the work reception center by building occupants or generated by designated Government or Contractor representatives; are brief in scope; and do not reasonably require detailed job planning. Multiple maintenance, repair, and minor construction requirements received for the same trade in the same building or structure at the same time will be combined into one service call, as long as the service call limits stated in the contract are not exceeded. The solicitation will be issued on or about 10 January 2011 with proposals due on or about 10 February 2011.
