Description
Dalecarlia Pump Motor Service Contract Washington Aqueduct Division, Washington, DC. The proposed procurement is Request for Proposal (RFP) Service contract. Solicit and award contract to provide pump motor repair, rewind, brushless excitation conversion service, and maintenance to Washington Aqueduct Dalecarlia Pumping Station in accordance with all terms, conditions, general and special contract requirements, specifications and drawings. This proposed procurement is set aside for a Small Businesses, NAICS 811310 size standard of $7 Million. The estimated cost of services is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The solicitation will be posted on or about 21 Feb 2011. Completion for this project is no later than 372 calendar days. The Contractor shall provide related services such as preparing and providing required reports, compiling historical data, performing administrative activities and submitting necessary information as specified. Tasks shall be performed in such a manner as to conform to the standards specified This level of work is defined as all pump motor repair, rewind, and brushless excitation conversion services. Included in this level of work are planning, project management, pickup and repair, supervision, overhead, profit and recurring work described in the contract. All labor, materials and equipment required to execute work required under this level of work are the Contractor's responsibility and are to be included in their unit price for pump motor maintenance services. Additional information in accordance with the statement of work is included in the request for proposal package. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. All questions shall be submitted via e-mail to John.R.Lambert2@usace.army.mil. Proposals shall be submitted via mail to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Attn: John Lambert Contracting Division, 10 South Howard Street, Baltimore, MD 21201-2530. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge. All authenticated account holders of Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) System to familiarize vendors with the newly released FBO system, please download the Vendor Guide found here. Please note that all Corps of Engineers acquisitions are considered Sensitive, But Unclassified Documents, and require users to have a valid MPIN entered in the FBO system to access package. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet only. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. No phone or fax request for copy of solicitation will be accepted.
