Description
NASA LaRC is hereby soliciting information for potential sources for the LangleyAdministrative, Media and Professional Services (LAMPS) contract to support NASA LangleyResearch Center (LaRC), Hampton, Virginia. An advance notice is published herein toprovide information about services that are required. The current contract titled theConsolidated Logistics, Administrative, and Scientific Information Contract (CLASIC),NAS1-02081, awarded in February 2002, which was procured using the acquisition proceduresoutlined in FAR Part 19.803(b) has changed to align with the Centers mission and visionfor the future and includes the estimated general scope of work outlined below: **(Note:The logistics support services portion of the CLASIC contract will be procured under aseparate contract vehicle)**Administrative and Professional Services - The Contractor shall provide a variety ofprofessional and administrative services to various organizations, programs, and projectsthroughout LaRC to include: program analysis; procurement support; human resourcesupport; strategic relations support; systems management support; general administrativesupport; interpreter services technical library services; and education support. (~ 60%)Media Services - The Contractor shall provide media services related to the productionand dissemination of information, providing the capability for production of a completerange of information products in single as well as multiple media, through the operationof the Media Services Center, an on-site one-stop-shop, for the provision of technicalpublications, duplication, and graphics services. These services include photographiclaboratory and archival services, operation of the Duplicating Facility, graphicsservices, and video support services. Also, the Contractor shall manage and providesupport for LaRC public affairs, outreach, and education (PAO&E) activities to include:video production, public relations, exhibit support, multimedia support, and conferenceand event support. (~ 40%)Requested Information: No solicitation currently exists; therefore, do not request a copyof the solicitation package. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized andposted accordingly. Interested parties who are considered a Small Business and arecurrently certified in the 8(a) program are requested to submit a capabilities statementdetailing the ability to meet the requirements listed above. Capability statementsshould be limited to 25 pages and please include any potential teaming/subcontractingpartners if foreseen to meet the Governments needs listed above; current or previouslyawarded contracts for similar type work and whether it was for a Government entity (e.g.City, State, Federal), the type of contract, (Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursement) and anytypes of incentives, (Award Fee, Incentive Fee, Award Term) to include non-monetaryperformance incentives. Also, please include your DUNS Number and CCR Number ifapplicable. This request for information is for market research and planning purposesonly and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Governmentpay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of any results ofinformation collected.The information provided will assist the Government in itsassessment of the current market and future acquisition planning strategy.
