- The United States Mint is seeking sources for the acquisition of Telework related training services. At this time, the United States Mint is not intending to purchase any particular product or service. This sources sought notice is for market research and being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. Interested parties may submit questions prior to the closing date. If your company is able to offer this service please respond via the email below. Include the following information: company contact information, business size classification, estimated pricing, company literature, and DUNS number. The NAICS code for this RFI is 611430 Professional and Management Development training or 541611 Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services. Service Description: The Telework Enhancement Act of 2010 (Public Law 111-292) was signed by President Obama on December 9, 2010. The legislation grants Federal employees eligibility to telework and requires Federal agencies to provide interactive telework training to employees. The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) recently issued new procedures for reporting the status of the Federal Government during weather or other emergencies. These new procedures now include Unscheduled Telework and will ensure the Federal Government maintain productivity and continuity of operations during snow and other emergencies. The United States Mint is restructuring its telework program and revising its telework policy; a pilot program is scheduled to launch FY12 and participants and their supervisors for telework may need to be trained on Teleworking. The United States Mint is looking for sources that can develop commercial or non commercial telework training (onsite in class and/or online) for employees and supervisors to include all recent changes in Government that effect the telework program. Intereseted sources should demonstrate a capability of providing telework training which would include, but not be limited to: defining telework benefits of telework overview of telework legislation recent changes to program performance management understanding the United States Mint revised telework policy managing remote employees maximizing productivity communication strategies Interested training sources should be familiar with industry best practices for telework in the Federal Government. Training should include a combination of instruction and exercises to familiarize employees and supervisors with different telework scenarios.
