- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request for Quote. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2005-48, Effective 31 Jan 2011. NAICS Code 324110 applies. FOB: Destination, Robins AFB, GA. Solicitation is to procure a firm fixed price contract for 200,000 gallons of liquid propane. This is a COMPETITIVE, SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. OFFERS WILL BE ACCEPTED FROM CERTIFIED SMALL BUSINESSES ONLY. Period of performance - Date of award through 14 Days thereafter. Contractor shall provide propane gas on a "full service" basis. Contractor shall be responsible for all propane acquisition, transportation and delivery. Contractor shall provide one monthly invoice for any/all propane delivered within the given month. 2. Market index cost with transportation and all other costs shall be quoted. The Point of Origin/Pipeline Pickup Points to consider are: (1) Milner GA -65 miles from Robins; (2) Albany GA - 96 miles; and (3) Alma GA - 115 miles (distances are approximate) 3. The ordered quantity shall be delivered to the propane tanks located at the propane-air mix plant located at the south end of Robins AFB at the intersection of Marchbanks Drive and Warner Robins Street. 4. The propane must be trucked onto the base by drivers with proper endorsements. Trucks enter Robins AFB at Gate 4, the designated truck gate. Drivers and trucks are subject to inspection by Security Forces upon entry and at any time while on the installation. The designated route of travel on base will be provided to the awardee.
