- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Small Boat Product Line, has a requirement to procure Travel Lift inspection and repair services. The contractor shall provide an inspector accredited to the United States Department of Labor to inspect, test, and report the condition of weight handling equipment. The testing and inspection are to be accomplished in accordance with Coast Guard specifications. ll responsible sources are welcome to submit a quotation, which, if timely received, shall be considered by the Agency. Request for Quotation Number HSCG40-11-Q-50050, including all related specifications and drawings, shall be available for download on or about March 1, 2011. This date is ESTIMATED at best. The closing date for receipt of quotations shall be 30 calendar days after the date the solicitation is released. It is anticipated to award multiple Indefinite Quantity contracts, each consisting of one base year and four option years, as a result of this solicitation. This acquisition is being solicited as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 811310. The successful offeror is required to perform at least 51 percent of the contract, not including cost of materials, with its own employees.
