- Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) to Marvin Engineering Company, Inc. 261 West Beach Avenue, Inglewood, CA for a base period of one year and four option periods; a total of five years from the date of award. The delivery orders will provide for procure of AERO-7, BRU-11/12/14/15/32/41/42 Bomb Racks, LAU-7/117/118/127/M272M279/M299 Missile Launchers, repair/rework/upgrades, associated support equipment, test equipment, spares, engineering/technical services and other related supplies/services and associated data for both the U.S, Government and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304 © (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Unless otherwise stated herein, no additional written information is available. Requests for written information will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: Marvin Engineering Company, Inc. is the original manufacturer with the necessary knowledge, technical data, and equipment, facilities, experience and a qualified production line up and running to perform this effort within the timeframe required. Subcontracting opportunities may be available and should be sought with Marvin Engineering at the following address: Marvin Engineering Co., INC., 261 West Beach Avenue, Inglewood, CA 90302. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for the supplies and services anticipated herein is 336413 "Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing". Once NAVAIR finalizes its requirements for the subject effort, registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database will be a prerequisite for receiving an award. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis or the CCR, refer to the CCR website at http://ccr.gov/index.cfm. The information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the government to solicit for or award a competitive contract. Interested parties may identify their interest by submitting to the contracting officer a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 25 pages in length, single-spaced 12 point font minimum) demonstrating their ability to execute this requirement. This documentation shall address, at a minimum, the following through prior/current corporate experience demonstrating an understanding, through similar experience of : (1) manufacturing and delivery of bomb racks and missile launchers; (2) design and system engineering, design verification, first article and qualification testing; (3) planning, coordinating and conducting test, to prove system performance; (4) system integration; (5) a company profile to include the number of employees, Cage Code, DUNS number, NAICS Code and the Small Business Administration (SBA) business size classification.
