Description
The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) is seeking small business sources that can provide administrative, logistical, and facility related technical support for the VRC immunology assay and product development scientific activities at the NVITAL (NIAID Vaccine Immune T-Cell and Antibody Laboratory) and Vaccine Production Program Laboratory (VPPL), including all necessary services related to facility and core infrastructure support and maintenance. The contractor shall provide administrative, logistical, and facility support to acquire and maintain adequate research laboratory space, directly or via lease, inclusive of negotiating and executing lease instruments. The contractor will also provide facility related services to include maintenance agreements for Government owned equipment; janitorial services; shipping services; equipment and environmental monitoring; provision of dry ice; provision of oxygen, liquid nitrogen, and other gases; waste generation licensure/permitting and biological/chemical waste disposal and management; security and monitoring systems; continuity of operations plans; and infrastructure support. All small businesses including veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, and women-owned small business concerns should respond with a capability statement by February 22, 2011 at 11:00 am EST. Capability statements must reference similar work that has been performed by the offeror and the dollar value of that work. Respondents must demonstrate, within the capability statements, skills and abilities that reflect experience managing laboratory facilities. This is a market survey, not a request for proposals.
