- This is a Sources Sought Notice for Market Research will be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. A SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED ON A LATER DATE. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of potential contractors. The Pine Bluff Arsenal has a requirement for the Cleaning and Calibration of Lab Equipment. The magnitude of this requirement is between $100,000 and $250,000, The NAICS Code is 811219 and the current size standard is $19 million. The Statement of Work for this requirement is attached. This requirement will likely be awarded as a firm fixed price contract for a base year + 4 option years. It is anticipated that a pre-solicitation notice will be posted on or before February 22, 2011. A solicitation is expected to be posted on or before March 22, 2011. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this announcement. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsive contractors. Interested businesses which have the skills and capabilities necessary to perform the stated requirements are invited to provide information to contribute to this sources sought announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow up information requests. Responses must include the following information: (1) Company Name and Address (2) Company Point of Contact: Name, Phone Number and E-Mail Address, (3) A Capability Statement expressing interest in this requirement, technical capability to meet or exceed the Statement of Work, and a brief description of similar project/s, customer point of contact with phone number, and dollar value of the project (3 page limit). All interested parties shall e-mail your response to Jennifer D. Winkler, Contract Specialist, at jd.winkler@us.army.mil no later than 4:00 PM CST February 22, 2011. Businesses must be registered in CCR to be eligible for award of Government contracts. Please reference W911RP-11-R-0018 in the subject line of all correspondence.
