- Description
- Colville National Forest, Tree Cooler Refrigeration Replacement, Three Rivers Ranger District. The Three Rivers Ranger District on the Colville National Forest located in North Eastern Washington State has a requirement for replacing a tree cooler refrigeration unit. Work includes but not limited to: demolish existing compressor, condenser and copper piping, install new compressor, condenser and copper piping, reconnect to controls and electrical. The project is located in Stevens County, Washington State. The new system shall be a remote refrigeration system with two Witt low profile unit coolers with r-134a refrigerant or equal. System capacity shall be 21,560 BTU's/hour at 100 degrees ambient temperature. The Contractors shall furnish all management, labor, equipment, supervision, tools, materials, transportation, operating supplies, supervision, workman's compensation, unemployment insurance and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the drawings and specification of the contract. The building is located in Kettle Falls, Washington. Direction include: follow US Highway 395 to the town of Kettle Falls, take a left at the traffic light, follow road until it tees, then follow the road right, go 100 yards, then turn left into the Ranger District Parking Lot. THe completion date will be negotiated and part of the evaluation criteria. The project is estimated between $25,000 to $100,000. The awarded Contractor will have to provide an alternative payment protection. This project will be advertised as a written request for quotes. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about January 11, 2011. Quotes are estimated to be due February 14, 2011. The actual due date will be listed in the solicitation. The solic6tation will be posted on this site. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. NAICS code is 238220 size standard is $14 million. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be posted at this site on the issue date.
