Description
RESPONSE TO QUESTIONS: QUESTION: It appears BIA will furnish the batteries for this system. If we provide an equal, the DC bus voltage may be different. Is this acceptable? The Toshiba system DC Link or Bus is 288 VDC. C. Battery Bank Voltage (supplied by the Government) 1) DC Float Voltage 325 VDCmaximum 2) DC Alarm Voltage (low) 250-252 VDC 3) Shutdown Voltage (min) 216-217 VDC RESPONSE: The BIA will supply the DC battery bank as indicated. The maximum float voltage or operating voltage allowed is 325 volts. Voltage less than this is acceptable along with applicable low voltage alarm and shutdown voltages based on the float voltage proposed.
