- The US Air Force, 421 Expeditionary Operations Squadron, has an upcoming requirement to provide personnel, equipment, tools, supervision and logistical support to a unique operation which prepares military personnel for deployed wartime operations. The support would include but not be limited to: Continuous equipment maintenance on wartime assets such as generators, floodlights, and Environmental Control Units (ECU), site preparation to include snow removal, grass cutting, and site setup such as tent assembly and tear down and asset reconstitution, transportation of equipment and personnel and provide briefings. Experience is needed in operating, maintaining and performing repairs on electrical distribution system equipment and components. Experience is also needed in water testing methods used to determine drinking water quality with respect to pH, temperature, conductivity, turbidity and chlorine. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT IS A MARKET SURVEY FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS (8[a], HUBZONE, SMALL BUSINESS, LARGE BUSINESS, ETC.) PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST. The Government is seeking, for informational purposes only, qualified, experienced sources interested in performing the services. (1) Please provide company name, address, point of contact, telephone number and e-mail address. (2) Type of business, i.e., small, small disadvantaged business, woman-owned, large, etc under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 541614 which contains a size standard of $7,000,000.00. (3) Provide no more than three (3) references of same or similar type work performed within the last three (3) years. These references should indicate the type of work for each project including functions performed, point of contact, phone number, e-mail address and the dollar value of the project.
