- Description
- The Army Contracting Command - Picatinny, on behalf of the Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, is seeking to identify potential sources with the capability to provide design, repair, maintenance, installation and installation support, replacement and refurbishment of equipment, calibration, troubleshooting, software support, supply parts and material, and technical support for all explosive waste disposal equipment and Industrial Plant Equipment (IPE) & controls in the explosive waste incinerator area, as necessary. The source must also have the capability to provide permitting support at the Incinerator and other ARDEC facilities in accordance with the New Jersey Department of Environment Protection (NJDEP). Interested sources must have extensive knowledge of NJDEP regulations, permitting requirements, and must be able to diagnosis and repair system problems to ensure that environmental permits are maintained or received. The contractor must have the ability to provide maintenance and remedial emergency repair service (calibration, troubleshooting, etc.) for a broad range of process equipment including, but not limited to, Continuous Emission Monitor analyzers, grinders, slurry tanks, sump pumps, waste feed equipment, and solvent injection system. The work to be performed will entail parts supply, disassembly and assembly, utility connects and disconnects associated with the IPE to include electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components and systems applicable to the specific equipment and controls. Interested sources must also have the capability to provide all labor, material, and equipment for the complete installation, repair, and technical support of energetic material disposal equipment and IPE, installation support, troubleshooting, calibration, supply of critical parts & materials, permitting in accordance with NJDEP, and related electrical work in the explosive waste incinerator areas at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. Industrial Plant Equipment (IPE) related electrical construction shall be performed by an electrical contracting firm possessing a valid New Jersey State electrical contractors license and business permits. If the source is not located on the installation they must have a quick response time for maintenance and repairs of 7 days maximum. Capable sources must also have knowledge of Army regulations on Explosive Operations and Explosive Equipment. TELEPHONE INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
