Description
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) has a requirement for a contractor that will provide Pest Control Services for the ATF National Laboratory Center located at 6000 Ammendale Road Ammendale, MD 20705. This is a technically acceptable low cost requirement. This is a combined synopsis / solicitation. This requirement is a 100% small business setaside. Contractor will be expected to respond accordingly to the below requirements. This will be a base period of one (1) year with four (4) one (1)-year option period contract. All Proposals will provide a firm fixed price per month for each year for the requirement requested below. The contractor shall perform monthly inspections to control pest using approve methods, bait traps and other devices or products necessary for the control and eradication of pest infestations. This includes roaches, common ant, rats, mice, wasp, bees and hornets and other pest seasonal or otherwise. 1. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to perform the following work: a. Submit a pest control plan. b. Perform monthly inspections of the National Laboratory Center for pest. c. Complete a report on their findings and steps taken to resolve any problems found. d. All materials use must conform to the latest Federal, State, and Local laws and ordinances. e. All materials shall be used in accordance with the manufacture's specification and material labels. f. All persons involved in this contract must be trained in handling pesticides and other hazardous products. g. Materials Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) must be submitted for all products used on this site for pest control. 2. The contractor is responsible for maintaining a safe environment at all time during the completion of this contract. 3. Listed below are areas of concern for pest control; 1. Building 1, Visitors Center. 2. Building 2A a. Pantries b. Lunch Room c. Restrooms d. Training Rooms e. Conference Rooms f. Loading Dock g. Shower Rooms h. Office Areas i. Water Treatment Building j. North and South Admin. Areas k. Dumpster area. l. Perimeter of Building. m. Any other area that is deemed necessary. Overall square footage is 190,000 The contractor must complete all security clearance forms prior to the start of the contract. The contractor also must adhere to all security procedures, regulations and policies while working within the LAB throughout the term of the contract. Escorts will be provided when working within the facility. This award will be made utilizing the simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Part 13.5. All FAR Part 12 Clauses/Provisions are applicable. Awardee must be registered in the Department of Defense's (DOD) Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) for electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. The visit will be held on Tuesday March 1st, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Proposals will be due no later than March 7th, 2011 3:00 PM EST.
