- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR AMPHENOLNASA THREADED COUPLING CONNECTORS. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) intheir quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and awritten amendment will not be issued.The purpose of this amendment is to answer all technical and contractual questionssubmitted. The questions and answers are as follows:Question 1: Can the response be scanned an e-mailed to this e-mail address?Answer 1: Yes.Offers for the items(s) described above are due by February 11, 2011 toRonald Johnson at ronald.johnson-1@nasa.gov and must include, solicitation number, FOBdestination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warrantyduration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of anyspecial commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative.Question 2: Does the response need to be submitted on form 1449? If no what other formatis acceptable?Answer 2: Offerors are encouraged to use the Standard Form 1449,Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items form found at URL:http://server-mpo.arc.nasa.gov/Services/NEFS/NEFSHome.tml However, this form is not mandatory for submitting an offer. There is no preference onformat. Question 3: Is there any other paperwork that must be submitted with the quote?Answer 3: Offerors must include completed copies of the provision at 52.212-3 (AUG 2009),Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items with their offer. These maybe obtained via the internet at URL:http://rcb.cancer.gov/rcb-internet/SAP/52-212-3plusadd.pdf. These representations andcertifications will be incorporated by reference in any resultant contract.Question 4: Can all parts be delivered sooner than 24 weeks?Answer 4: Offerors shall propose to the required delivery date. Delivery to NASA JohnsonSpace Center is required within 24-51 weeks ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. Question 5: Will the bid be awarded by line item? Answer 5: At this time the Government does not anticipate making multiple awards for thisprocurement. The due date for receipt of offers is not extended. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASAAcquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on February 03, 2011. Documents related to thisprocurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web(WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
