Description

The Aviation Rockets Product Office is conducting market research to support the development of an acquisition strategy for the Hydra 70 (2.75 inch) Rocket System. The Government anticipates issuing one or more competitive contracts for Fiscal Year 2014-2018 requirements with an estimated value that will exceed $1 Billion USD and approximately 200,000 rockets annually. The Hydra 70 (2.75 inch) Rocket System includes manufactured hardware, assembly, test, and inspection in accordance with a Government Furnished Technical Data Package (TDP), including but not limited to Unitary and Cargo Warheads, Rockets and Motors. It is anticipated this action will be limited to the National Technology and Industrial Base (NTIB). The Government has interest in the following strategies and is seeking a contractor to potentially team with Government facilities (e.g. Government Owned, Contractor Operated (GOCO), Government Owned, Government Operated (GOGO)). It is requested that interested businesses provide a Statement of Capability, which includes information on company background and past performance, relevant to the requirements stated in this notice. Please provide your company's experience with emphasis on the following areas no later than March 25, 2011: a. System Integrator providing supply chain management and contract administration only b. System Integrator providing supply chain management and contract administration and Load, Assemble and Pack (LAP) of the final product at Contractor Owned facilities c. System Integrator providing supply chain management and contract administration with GOCO LAP d. System Integrator providing supply chain management and contract administration with GOGO LAP Responses should include: a. Company Name, CAGE Code, DUNS, and Address of the contractor b. Point of contact including name, title, phone and email address c. Size of contractor, average annual revenue for the past three years and number of employees d. Whether the business is currently classified as a Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a) and/or Women Owned Small Business, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Submissions should be sent via mail to the Army Contracting Command-Redstone, Building 5303, Martin Road, ATTN: CCAM-TM-A (Ms. Dortha Kelley), Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5000. Submissions shall not exceed 20 pages (8.5 X 11 inches). Format of submissions shall be in accordance with the outline above. Font shall be 12 pitch with one inch margins. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. All information marked (Proprietary To Company Name) will not be disclosed outside of the Department of Defense. The documentation provided will not be returned. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. This is not a Solicitation and does not obligate the Government to issue a Solicitation. Companies who would like a copy of the TDP are instructed to request it by submission of an email request to: dortha.kelley@us.army.mil. Any requests should contain the following information: CAGE CODE, Company Name, Point of Contact, Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, and Telephone Number.
