Description

The United States Army Contracting Command CECOM Contracting Center (CECOM-CC), Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005, intends to Purchase of three-thousand-two-hundred-thirty-two (3232) each XFR PATA/SATA Adapters and XFR 5 Pin Power Cables. The new contract would be Firm Fixed Price (FFP). In Accordance with FAR 6.302-1 -- Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirements -- Only the performance specifications cited above are available. Greystone Data Technologies XFR PATA/SATA Adapter and XFR 5 Pin Power Cable are newly developed adapters and power cables used in Dell XFR hard disk drive duplicators, using the Greystone Data Technologies Data Fast 5 (DF5) hard disk duplicator. The Greystone Data Technologies XFR PATA/SATA Adapters and XFR 5 Pin Power Cables are needed for use in Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2) and is the only tested and approved adapter and power cable with hardware requirements that are able to successfully duplicate the Dell XFR hard drives using the DF5 duplicator. This synopsis is provided for informational purposes and is not to be considered a request for proposal. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the government. The U.S. Army CECOM Contracting Center has established the IBOP website as part of the Army's Single Face to Industry, to allow electronic posting of Solicitation for Request for Proposals (RFP) Request for Quotations (RFQ) and Invitation for Bids (IFB) from CECOM to Industry. All parties interested in doing business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the IBOP at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil.
