- The Veterans Affairs Medical Center, located in Beckley West Virginia, is seeking potential sources capable of providing one each 30 cub.yrd, construction dumpster and haul service to landfill 5 times per month or when called as needed to empty dumpster. Vendor will empty dumpster within 24 hours of calls received from the contracting officer technical representative (COTR) at VAMC Beckley, WV. This is a rental agreement requirement for a base year period with 4 option year periods to be exercised at the Government's discretion. All contractor personnel to be utilized in the performance of the contract shall be U.S. citizens and must have passed a drug test within the last year. Drug test results must be provided at time of award or be submitted with proposal. The contractor must adhere to all VA security requirements. The contractor shall be responsible for protecting the personnel furnishing services under this contract. The contractor shall provide workers compensation, health examinations, income tax withholding, and social security payments. The contractor, its employees, agents and subcontractors shall not be considered VA employees for any purpose. The NAICS code is 562119 /Other Waste Collection/size standard is $12.5M. Performance period will be from the date of award until September 30, 2011, with 4 one (1) year option to be exercised at the Government's discretion. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Responses to this sources sought notice should include the following: name and address of company; business size (large or small); identify whether or not firm falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories - 8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned; firm's experience in providing dumpster rental service to facilities in a professional hospital, clinical or medical setting and any other pertinent information, which demonstrates your ability to meet the above requirement.
