- Solicitation with attachments NSN: 6635-00-361-4631RN, Commercial Item Description (CID) A-A-58049B-II, Magnetic Inspection Unit. This product is a stationary magnetic inspection unit used in a lab environment. Size/Dimensions (approx): Length 100", Width 30", Height 42". Predominant material: Stainless Steel Requirement is for six (6) each in the basic year with four (4) additional options for a maximum of three (3) each. Delivery is 90 days ARO Contract to DPL002,DE600X,FE5270,FE5000,FE5004,and FX2027. Solicitation is expected to be issued approximately 11 Feb 2011, with response due 11 Mar 2011. The RFQ will be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov. The Commercial Item Description required to respond to the RFQ will also be available at www.fedbizopps.gov. Only businesses that have been certified by the Department of Defense, United States/Canada Joint Certification Office, and have a valid requirement may access the data. To obtain certification, contact: Commander, Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS), ATTN:U.S./Canada Joint Certification Office, 74 Washington Avenue North, Battle Creek, MI 49017-3084 or call the DLIS at (800)-352-3572. The DLIS United States/Canada Joint Certification Lookup service is available via the Internet at www.dlis.dla.mil/JCP. This acquisition will utilize the Technically Acceptable-Performance/Price Tradeoff (TA-PPT) to make an integrated assessment for a best value award decision. A decision on the technical acceptability of each offeror's quotation will be made. For those offerors who are determined to be technically acceptable, tradeoffs will be made between past performance and cost/price with past performance being considered SLIGHTLY MORE IMPORTANT than cost/price. This procurement will use the Past Performance Information Retrieval System-Statistical Reporting system, PPIRS-SR, for the evaluation of past performance. It is recommended that all interested vendors check their PPIRS-SR data prior to submission of proposals for data accuracy. All questions regarding the RFQ and/or the data packages must be submitted in writing to Victor.Henderson@robins.af.mil with copy to Kathryn.Canady@robins.af.mil. NO TELEPHONIC QUESTIONS. All questions and answers will be uploaded to www.fedbizopps.gov. However, the identity of the potential offeror will not be included. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements.
