Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Ohio Army National Guard Recruiting & Retention Battalion SUBJECT: Statement of Work (SOW) for Warrior Challenge 1.The following SOW is provided for Warrior Challenge 2011. The SOW is for the set-up of bleachers: On 1 May 2011, the Recruiting and Retention Battalion will be hosting the 4th Annual Warrior Challenge at Camp Lazarus, Delaware, Ohio. The event will culminate with a Battalion Pass in Review, along with an awards ceremony on the Camp Lazarus Parade Field. To ensure this is a successful event, we request the set-up of bleachers that will support 1,000 personnel. These personnel will be the families of the Warriors, as well as visiting dignitaries, and military leaders. The specifics of the SOW are the bleachers must be able to accommodate 1,000 personnel, and be handicap accessible. There is no limitation on the dimensional set-up. The set-up date for the bleachers is 28 April 2011, and the recovery is 2 May 2011. The location of the bleachers is Camp Lazarus, 4422 Columbus Pike, Delaware, Ohio. 2.
