Description
The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk (FISCN), Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA intends to negotiate a 100 percent Small Business Firm Fixed-Price contract for the rental and laundering of work uniforms for FISCN Postal Operation Divisions. The rental and laundering services will be acquired in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, and FAR Subpart 19.5 Set Asides for Small Business. The rental and laundering will be required for a six month base period that will commence on 1 April 2011 and conclude on 30 September 2011. Four one-year option periods will be incorporated thereafter, that will conclude on 30 September 2015. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 812332 INDUSTRIAL LAUNDERERS and the Small Business Standard is $35.5 Million. A complete request for quote (RFQ) package will be available for download on or about 15 February 2011 under the RFQ number N00189-11-T-0069 at the following websites: http://www.neco.navy.mil, www.fbo.gov or www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above cites. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-999-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. The NECO website has a submit bid button next to the solicitation number. DO NOT use the submit bid button on NECO to submit your proposal.
