Description

The Indian Health Service (IHS) intends to award a non-competitive order for the below mentioned items to Unanet Technologies. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A Request for Proposal is not available. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. • User licenses plus prorated maintenance for Unanet Project Portfolio - quantity 125 The IHS Office of Information Technology (OIT) has adopted the Unanet Project Portfolio product for tracking of all project activity within the three OIT Investments. The original selection of Unanet was competed in 2009, and deployment of the initial 75 licenses was limited to a subset of contract staff on the Resource and Patient Management System (RPMS) Investment. Utilization was expanded in FY2010 to cover the remainder of RPMS including Federal staff, and the current purchase will complete the deployment to all federal and contract staff working on all OIT Investments. The acquisition is for 125 new licenses (bringing the total to 300) plus one year of maintenance for these licenses. Based on the understanding that Unanet has no resellers, and that no other companies provide maintenance of their Project Portfolio license products, IHS intends to pursue this sole source acquisition. However, any vendor believing that they can provide the product/service listed above may submit a written response to be received at the contracting office no later than February 22, 2011; email or mailed hard copy responses will be considered.
