Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract with Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) Portsmouth, RI on a sole source basis for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2012 Full Rate Production (FRP) procurement of ALFS systems with 4 options, FY 2013, FY 2014, FY 2015 and FY 2016 Production Lots. The procurement for FY 2012 through FY 2016 (base plus 4 options) is not to exceed one-hundred (100) AN/AQS-22 ALFS systems. Each Lot procurement will include associated program management, engineering production support, integrated logistics support, testing, training, engineering change proposals, software support, support equipment, spare and repair parts and technical data. As the sole manufacturer and developer of the ALFS system, Raytheon is the only known source with the technical data, knowledge and technical experience necessary to perform this effort within the time frame required to meet the Governments needs.
