- Modification to change the response time from 2 March 2011 at 1:00 PM EST to 2 March 2011 at 2:00 PM EST. NOTIFICATION OF SOLE SOURCE AWARDS Defense Human Resources Activity (DHRA) intends to award contracts on a sole source basis for Commercial Travel Office (CTO) services to the following contractors, respectively: • The Alamo Travel Group Inc. Doing Business As (DBA) The Alamo Travel Group. (8930 Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, TX 78240) Travel Area #67. • Knowledge Connections, Inc. (111-M Carpenter Dr. Ste. 150, Sterling, VA 20164) Travel Area #92 These contracts will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. These are bridge contracts against the current expiring contracts with a Period of Performance from date of award to 31 July 2011. DHRA requires travel management and related services in support of the Defense Travel Management Office (DTMO). These services will support the official travel activities of authorized Department of Defense (DoD) travelers whose duty station is within the Travel Area(s) outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any party that believes it is capable of meeting the requirements stated in the attached SOW may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports and demonstrates their ability to perform the requirements. Capability statements must be received by the response date and time of this notice (see below). Submissions will be reviewed to determine if they can meet the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contracts based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. These procurements are being conducted under negotiated procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 15. Please see the attached SOW for a description of the requirements.
