Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Acquisition and Logistics, Technology Acquisition center, located at 260 Industrial Way West, Eatontown, NJ, intends to enter into a 75 day Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. This FFP contract is for design of a Video Simulation Management System (VSMS) to support the new national SimLEARN Center being built near Orlando, Florida. VSMS will be a turn-key integrated technology solution which shall provide Simulation recording, debriefing, assessment, session control and data integration, video storage and playback, and course creation and learner management. This is a 100% set-aside for small businesses. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541512 size standard of $25M. Prospective Contractors must be registered on Central Contractor Register (CCR) and Online Representations & Certifications Application (ORCA). The solicitation number assigned to this effort is VA118-11-RP-0160 and will be issued on or about February 28, 2011. An award date of no later than April 29, 2011 is desired. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however all responsible sources may submit a proposal in response to the solicitation which shall be considered by the agency.
