Brand Name TO PROCURE an Alaskan Medical Tent System for a Contingency Aeromedical Staging Facility (CASF), delivered to Wright Patterson AFB, OH. Manufacturer: Alaska Structures, Inc. Including: 4-each Alaska Ten 32 x 20 Green Alaska Tents 6-each Green Alaska Tent Vestibules 3-each Green Alaska Tent Partition Walls 2-each Vestibule Connector Arch 4-each Alaskan Tent Spare Part Kits. Key performance factors include the following: Ability to sustain structural integrity with a 10 pound snow load Sustain structural integrity with a 65 mph wind load Maintain a 90 degree Farenheit (F) at 120F ambient temperature using 5 tons of A/C Maintain a 40F interior temperature at -25F ambient temperature without use of any allowable supplemental heat Setup time within 2 hours with 4/person crew Under Brand Name authority, FAR 6.302-1(c), An acquisition that uses a brand name description or other purchase description to specify a particular brand name, product, or feature of a product, peculiar to one manufacturer does not provide for full and open competition regardless of the number of the number of sources solicited. However, we will accept any quotes submitted and will evaluate technical capability on an individual basis. See attached Brand Name Justification. The size standard for this effort is 500 employees. NAICS 314912. Delivery: 30 Days. FOB: Destination. Payment Terms Net 30 Days: Evaluation of Award will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. ATTN: The following clauses and provisions apply: 52.212-4 Contract terms and Conditions- Commercial Items 52.212-5 Contract terms and Conditions required to implement statutes or executive orders-commercial items 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items Wide Area Workflow This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement is FM230002731112 and is hereby issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using FAR Subpart 13.1 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Technical Capability and Price. The quotations may be in any format but MUST include: 1) Proposing company's name, address, and phone; 2) Point of contact's name, phone, and email; 3) Quotation number & date; 4) Item price 5) Total price; 6) Shipping; 7) Applicable discounts; 8) Payment terms; 9) Timeframe that the quote is valid; 9) Delivery Schedule; and 10) Warranty Information (if applicable). Quotations MUST also contain a complete description of item offered to clearly show item meets or exceeds the requirements listed above. The Contracting Officer will review quotations based on the factors listed in this solicitation and the information furnished by the offeror. Before price is considered, the proposal must meet the technical capabilities. The lowest price technically acceptable will be awarded the order. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS: All prospective awardees are required to register at the Central Contractor's Register (CCR) and to maintain active registration during the life of the contract. CCR can be accessed at https://www.bpn.gov All Quotations and responses must be received no later than 4:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time on 22-Febraury-2010.
