- DESCRIPTION: The work of this contract shall consist of the installation of a completely weatherproof roof replacement system for the Weaverville Ranger Station's Fire Office No. 2035 and the Harrison Gulch Ranger Garage No. 1501. In addition, as a contract option, the installation of a completely weatherproof roof system for the Harrison Gulch Residence No. 1001 and Harrison Gulch Residence No. 1103 may be added to the contract as options. The work shall include, but not be limited to: removing and replacing existing flashings, replacing existing gutters if any, and installing the new roof system. PROJECT LOCATION: Project is located at the Weaverville Ranger Station (40 degrees 44 ft 06.22 inches N, 122 degrees 56 ft 36.88 inches W) on Highway 299 in Weaverville, California, and at the Harrison Gulch Compound (40 degrees 21 ft 47.16 inches N, 122 degrees 57 ft 29.94 inches W) off of Highway 36 east of Platina, California. This is a 100 percent set-aside for small business PRICE RANGE: Between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated start work date: June 1, 2011 CONTRACT TIME: 60 calendar days. PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE: A pre-bid tour will not be held. BONDING IS REQUIRED of the successful offeror at time of award. A bid guarantee is not required with offeror's submitted proposal. The solicitation will be available for downloading from this website on or about March 3, 2011. Interested contractors and subcontractors are requested to self-register at this website to receive email notification of any postings concerning this project, such as amendments.
