Description
NOAA's Marine Operations Center - Pacific has a requirement for Relocation Services to NOAA's new facility in Newport, OR. The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, and equipment necessary to perform the Relocation Services. The contract is contemplated to consist of a period of performance from on or about April 8, 2011 to June 30, 2011. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this procurement is 484210 and the size standard is $25.5 million. The work will be described in the Statement of Work, any of which is subject to change at the Government's discretion upon issuance of the solicitation. Some of the potential relocation requirements are the following: Relocating approximately 60 NOAA personnel from the current building at 1801 Fairview Avenue East in Seattle, WA (hereafter referred to as MOC-P) to the new facility in Newport, OR approximately 350 miles away. Additionally, some items located in another NOAA warehouse facility at 7600 Sand Point Way, NE, Seattle, (hereafter referred to as Hangar 33) will also be relocated. The new building will be located on the southern shore of Yaquina Bay along the Oregon coast at 2002 SE Marine Science Drive, Newport, OR 97365. The current lease in Seattle expires June 30, 2011 at which point the facility must be fully vacated. NOAA anticipates a beneficial occupancy date of May 1, 2011 in Newport, OR. The construction project is being managed by NOAA's Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (OCAO). The relocation project is being managed by NOAA's Office of Marine and Aviation Operations. The facility at 1801 Fairview must be completely vacant no later than June 30, 2011 all contents must be moved to either the new facility, or placed in recycling containers (supplied by others). All responsible and fully responsive sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Agency. Any resulting contract will be awarded as a firm-fixed price commercial item contract. Solicitation documents will be made available for download on or around March 4, 2011 at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties should use the FedBizOpps [Add To Watchlist] and [Add Me To Interested Vendors] features which provide a notification when the RFP becomes available for download as well as all postings of information associated with this solicitation, thereafter. Each potential offeror is responsible for checking the FedBizOpps website to gain all current information related to the solicitation. The solicitation and any further announcements regarding the solicitation will be posted only at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/.
