Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting, Office, Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services in Leavenworth, KS. Location of services should be within a 10 miles radius of Grossman Center, 4715 Brewer Place, Leavenworth, KS 66048 and on the local bus route. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period to begin on July 1, 2011 with four (4) one-year option renewal periods with service ending (if all options are renewed) on June 30, 2016. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four, respectively. The Following services are required and may be sub-contracted to another licensed contractor. The requirements for Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment and Mental Health Services for male and female Federal offenders includes: Base Year: Estimated number of Substance Abuse Inmates per Year = 25 Intake Assessments & Report (one per authorized inmate) for 25 inmates = 25 assessments Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 48 units (per inmate) x 25 = 1,200 units Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 25 = 1,800 units Family Counseling (30 minutes = 1 unit) 16 units (per inmate) x 4 = 64 units Estimated number of Mental Health Inmates per Year = 10 Mental Health Intake Assessment & Report (one per inmate) for 10 inmates = 10 units Medication Monitoring (1 visits per inmate) for 15 inmates = 15 monitoring visits Mental Health Individual The request for quotation will be available on or after February 15, 2011 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http: //www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the quotation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including quotation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date is on or about April 4, 2011. Faith-Based and Community -Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This requirement is unrestricted. The BOP anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract. All responsible business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered by this agency.
