- SOW 160534 Rev 1 2/10/11 CVD diamond Optical quality Dimensions : 10 mm diameter clear aperture, 100±10 μm thickness Surfaces : polished Mounted on a quartz disk (50 mm diameter x 4 mm) with a 10 mm clear hole. The diamond is glued around the edges to cover the hole in the quartz using an optically transparent adhesive that is UHV compatible. The entire assembly must be vacuum tight after the diamond is glued to the quartz. demonstrate a leak rate smaller than 1 X 10-9 standard cc/sec with Helium gas.
