Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service requests proposals for fabrication and delivery of a Live Fish Hauling Tank delivered to the Green Lake National Fish Hatchery located in Ellsworth, Maine. Please see the attachment for the solicitation terms, conditions and technical specifications. This is a combined announcement and solicitation. The exterior dimensions of the proposed tank are 156' long x 72' wide x 42' deep to accommodate an internal tank volume of 2,000 gallons (or 1,000 gallons in each of the two sides). Proposals must be based on all aluminum, double wall construction with interior all aluminum framework for support. Fiberglass tank proposals will not be considered. Tank includes latching lids, sloped floor, aerators, air stones, electriccal box for aerators, oxygen flow meters, braided stainless steel oxygen line, and angle aluminum mounted to bottom perimeter of tank to accommodate mounting of tank to truck bed. Estimated magnitude of this project is between $10,000 and $50,000. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 332420. This project is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. Proposals are due on March 18, 2011 by 4:30 pm (EST). Interested contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website at www.ccr.gov and complete Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at www.bpn.gov, to be eligible for award.
