- Defense Logistics Agency has a requirement for Tandberg 6000 MXP Bandwidth Upgrades. This is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) # SP4707-11-Q-0030. Place of performance is Battle Creek, Michigan. Inspection, acceptance and F.O.B. are at destination, Battle Creek, Michigan. Delivery shall be no later than 30 calendar days after award date. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular #2005-48. A redacted copy of the required brand-name justification is included within this announcement. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small business concerns, and the associated NAICS code is 541511 with a SBA size standard of $25 million in average annual receipts. Offerors shall provide a price for each contract line item number (CLIN) in their quote. Quotes with quantities of less than requested or products other than those requested will be deemed technically unacceptable. CLIN Descriptions: CLIN 001: Tandberg Codec 6000 MXP from 768 kbps/3Mbps to 2Mbps/6Mbps, MPN: 113888U7A, QTY: 05 EA. Serial Numbers: 25A56650, 25A15403, 25A14810, 25A56539, 25A56398. Redacted Justification: To ensure compatibility with existing hardware and software in the field and at the HDI Federal Center, this upgrade must be completed with Tandberg equipment. Currently, Tandberg is the only solution available to meet the agencies needs. Further, the Tandberg Codec's, along with the Tandberg HD Integrator Package have been identified as key components of the server infrastructure. The required brand name supplies will provide mission critical support for the appliance it controls. Potential offeror shall be an authorized Tandberg, Inc. partner/ reseller and source directly through Tandberg, or Tandberg authorized channels only, per standard commercial industry practices. Quotes that do not meet this requirement shall be considered technically unacceptable. The evaluation factor(s) for award is; lowest-price, technically acceptable. Any resulting contract or order will be firm-fixed price. Place "SP4707-11-Q-0030" in the subject field of any e-mail correspondence.
