Description
AAC/PKOB, Eglin AFB, Florida, Contracting Division, intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for purchasing 250 Boxes of aerial ignition spheres (1000 spheres per box) with a base and four option periods. Estimated quantities may vary up to 375 boxes a year. However, only a minimum of 250 boxes is guaranteed on this contract. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The announcement number is F1TEBY1019A001. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 325920 with a size standard of 750 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. This is a 100% set aside. The requirement consists of the following items: CLIN-0001AA Purchase 250 Boxes (1000 spheres per box) of Aerial Ignition Spheres for prescribed burning. AERIAL IGNITION SPHERES: Aerial Ignition spheres are 1.25 inches in diameter and are made of high impact polystyrene plastic containing approximately 3 grams of potassium permanganate. These spheres are used in an aerial ignition spere dispenser. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-34.
