A001: The following changes have been made to solicitation HSCG38-10-R-200009. 1. Clin 0005 and all applicable option year clins add P/N 132140/Piston to the separately priced replacement parts with an estimated quantity of 9 per year. 2. Clin 0009 and all applicable option year clins in the separately priced replace parts section change P/N 801422 to 818080. 3. The closing date for Solicitation HSCG38-10-R-200009 is changed to 11/1/10 vice 10/19/10. 4. Please see attachment for revised Schedule. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number HSCG38-10-R-200009 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-44. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 336413. The small business size standard is 1,000 employees. This is an unrestricted solicitation. This synopsis/solicitation is issued for the repair of hydraulic regulator, hydraulic pumps, and servos used within the Coast Guard Short Range Recovery (SRR) HH-65 aircraft. The Government's objective is to negotiate a firm-fixed price, requirements contract with a responsible vendor that can provide labor, material, tooling, parts, test equipment and facilities to perform repair on the various aviation components used to support the SRR aircraft fleet in sufficient quantities to maintain helicopter operations, in addition to, meeting the specifications set forth in the Statement of Work (SOW). The anticipated period of performance will be five (5) years total consisting of one (1) one - year base period, and four (4) one-year option periods. The SOW and schedule of line items can be found as attachments to this solicitation. The Government reserves the right to withhold any item or group of items contained in this solicitation upon award. The Government cannot predetermine the precise quantities that will be required. This requirement contains estimated quantities and deliveries to be scheduled by placing firm-fixed delivery orders. Also, this is a recurring requirement and the Coast Guard is NOT OBLIGATED to the ESTIMATED QUANTITIES. Inspection and acceptance shall be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work posted as an attachment to this announcement. The desired delivery of the hydraulic regulator, hydraulic pumps, and servos is 120 calendar days after receipt of the delivery orders and components. Early deliveries will be accepted. F.O.B. Point will be F.O.B. DESTINATION for all Deliverables. Used Items/Parts are NOT acceptable. Packaging, packing, and preservation shall be in accordance with best commercial practices to enable shipment to destination and transshipment to Coast Guard units without repackaging or incurring damage during shipment and handling. The contractor shall furnish a Certificate of Conformance in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.246-15. Certificate of Conformance must be submitted in the format specified in the clause. Contractor's standard commercial warranty shall apply. IAW FAR 46.706(b)(5), any offered warranty must be disclosed; as a minimum disclosure must include a brief statement that a warranty exists, the substance of the warranty, the warranty's duration, and whom to notify if the items are found to be defective. It is anticipated that the award will be made without discussions. Offerors are encouraged to submit their best proposals. See attachment for Schedule, SOW, and Solicitation
