Description

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) intends to negotiate on a Sole Source Basis with Thermo Electron North America LLC., on following Laboratory Equipment: ITEM 0001: MSQ-2000 DIonex MSQ ITEM 0002: Trace DSQ, Trace GC, 250-L/sec turbo, da; ITEM 0003: AS3000 Autosampler ITEM 0004: Surveyor MSQ ITEM 0005: Surveyor PDA Detector ITEM 0006: Surveyor LC Pump ITEM 0007: Finnigan Surveyor Autosampler This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. There is no solicitation available for this requirement. This requirement will be awarded through the Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13. The closing date for this requirement is February 17, 2011, 11:00am EST.
