- The Department of Labor, Mine Safety & Health Administration, intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) - FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements to Mountaineer Gas Company, 2401Sissonville Drive, Charleston, WV 25312, to provide natural gas services at its facility located at 1301 Airport Road, Beaver, WV, 25813. This action will result in a firm fixed price contract. The contract will be for a base year of twelve (12) months and four (4) twelve-month options. The period of performance will commence on March 1, 2011, and end on February 28, 2016. The NAICS code for this requirement is 221210 with a size standard of 500 employees. This Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no solicitation document. No RFP will be available for competitive proposals.
