- U.S. Army, Mission and Installation Contracting (MICC) intends to award a follow on contract to National Mailing Systems for annual software and hardware support, maintenance and sustainment for the Triek-915 Ultra Sorter for the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C. This sole source award is based under the statutory authority permitting Other Than Full and Open competition 10 U.S.C. 2304 ( c ) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements to National Mailing Systems, 1749 Old Meadow Road, Mclean, VA 22102.The contractor will provide all materials required to perform the work. The NAICS code is 423420 with a size standard of 100 employees. This Notice of Intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. Request for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledge. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement in the future is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their capabilities by responding to this requirement no later than 10:00 am February 23, 2011. All information submitted should support the offerors capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offerors bona fide capability to provide these items. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses may be submitted via email if the total file size is less than 5 pages. Otherwise, responses must be submitted via hard copy to: US Army MICC, Thelma Puckett, 9410 Jackson Loop, Suite 101, and Fort Belvoir, VA 22060.
