- This Sources Sought Notice (SS) is for information and planning purposes only at this time; and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs. Because this is a sources sought announcement, no evaluation letters and/or results will be issued to the respondents. No solicitation exists. Therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs Service Area Office East/ Network Contracting Activity 8, is conducting market research to identify potential sources with the intention to award multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements, consignment agreements for a variety of unique cardiac drug eluting stents, bare metal cardiac stents, balloons, guiding catheters, coronary guide wires and special catheters for VA Caribbean Healthcare System at San Juan, Puerto Rico. The following interventional products are needed: Xience V, Promus, Cypher, Endeavor, Vision, Minivision, Veriflex, Driver, OTW Voyager, RX Voyager, NC Voyager, OTW, Apex, Apex, Quantum NC Apex, Durastar, Runway, Vista Brite Tip, BMW Universal, Whisper MS, Prowater, Choice PT, Kinetix, Wizdom, Stabilizer, Stabilizer Plus, ATW marker, PPack 20/20 with Co-Pilot, Flextome, Rotablator, I-Cross, Filter wire. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No solicitation package is available at this time. The agreement period will be for one (1) year from the date of agreement award. NAICS Code 339113 applies with a size standard of 500 employees. This procurement will be conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 15. Take into consideration that written communication received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining current market capabilities for the services identified within this notice. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced and posted on this website at a later date, and interested parties must respond to the solicitation to be considered for award. This notice does not commit the government to contract for any supply. The government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this source sought notice. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business, SDVOSB, VOSB or 8(a) set-aside based on responses hereto. Do not contact medical center staff in reqards to this requirement, as they are not authorized discuss this matters related to this procurement action, direct all questions to the Contract Specialist. Submittal Information: All responses must include the following information: Company name, cage code, CCR number, Dunn & Bradstreet number, company address, Point-of-Contact name, phone number, fax number, and e-mail. The subject line of the correspondence should clearly display the Sources Sought number. Due date for submission of company capabilities, is February 23, 2011 by 3:30 pm Puerto Rico (local time). Information will only be accepted in writing by e-mail.
