Description
THIS IS A MARKET SURVEY, NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of Research Facilities (ORF), Office of Acquisitions on behalf of the Facilities Management Branch, Real Property Management Office, is seeking Sources Sought information from interested parties/small businesses, to provide preventive maintenance, repair/replacement, emergency maintenance, repair/replacement, inspection, new installation and programming of security surveillance equipment, as required at the National Institutes of Health, Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. The work areas consist of the NIEHS Main Campus located at 111 TW Alexander Drive, Durham, North Carolina and leased facilities located at 530 Davis Drive, and 627 Distribution Drive, Morrisville, North Carolina. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary services and qualified technical personnel to perform all services required. The Contractor shall provide complete preventive maintenance and emergency response, including necessary repair/replacement service, and inspections of Government-owned Security Surveillance Equipment needed. The contractor shall furnish all necessary tools and test equipment to pursue the fulfillment of work performed under this requirement. The Contractor may be requested to provide, install, monitor, and remove covert type surveillance equipment. The contractor shall provide the latest type of covert surveillance equipment available to meet the needs of the Government. The contractor shall be able to install this type of equipment within four hours of notification. Once the covert type surveillance equipment is installed the Government shall monitor the equipment. Numerous outside pole cameras are located on 30' aluminum poles. The contractor will need a mechanical type lift or boom truck in order to perform work on these outside cameras including emergency repairs in the time requirements of the Contract. Interested parties/small businesses, must submit a capability statement in response to this sources sought announcement, no later than March 04, 2011.
