- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Fargo VA Medical & Regional Office Center, 2101 Elm Street (N), Fargo, North Dakota 58102 is issuing a solicitation for Community Resource and Referral Center within the city limits of Fargo, North Dakota to serve as the point of entry in the human services continuum of care, educating homeless and/or at risk of homelessness Veterans (including mentally ill, and/or chemically dependent), and their dependents of available community resources and benefits beyond homelessness and poverty assisting them toward a more sustainable independent living situation in a collaborative effort with VA Health Care for Homeless Veterans staff. The Community Resource and Referral Center will operate from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 PM, seven (7) days per week, and 365-days per year at the contractor's facility providing a safe and comfortable place for homeless or at risk of homeless Veterans and their dependents to seek respite from the weather, attend to personal hygiene, do laundry, provide mailboxes, provide private office/meeting space for HCHV staff to counsel Veterans and their dependents - this is a brief description of the expected services to be provided, it is not all inclusive. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 624190 and the small business size standard is $7.0 million (USD), the solicitation will be unrestricted, identified as Request for Quotes (RFQ) VA-263-11-RQ-0161. This contract will be a firm fix-price for all services described within the Statement of Work/Performance Work Statement on a monthly basis. Potential offerors are responsible for downloading all documents, including amendments, from this website without further notification from the Contracting Officer. The term of the contract will be one (1) base year plus four (4), one (1) year options, at the discretion of the Government. Only hard copy proposals will be accepted; electronic submission of offers and faxed proposals will not be accepted. Contracting Office address is VA Medical Center (04-S), 2101 Elm Street, Fargo, ND 58102. Vendors will not receive individual non-award letter notifications; the award notice posted to this website will serve as non-awardees official electronic notification of award. VENDORS MUST NOT CONTACT HOSPITAL STAFF REQARDING QUESTIONS PERTAINING TO THIS UPCOMING REQUIREMENT, ALL QUESTIONS ARE TO BE DIRECTED TO THE CONTRACTING OFFICER. ALL INTERESTED PARTIES SHALL RESPOND NOT LATER THAN FRIDAY, MARCH 18, 2011 at 1:00 PM (CENTRAL TIME). All interested parties should insure they are registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR), the primary registration database for the U.S. Federal Government. Data shall include customer name, address, contract number, and point of contact information (name, phone number, and e-mail address.) 4.The business size and business socioeconomic category; such as Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business, Hub Zone Small Business, etc ¦ Please note, all SDVOSB's and VOSB's must be verified by the office of Small Disadvantaged Business Utilization's Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) prior to receiving any award. This notice does not commit the government to contract for any supply or service. The government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Request for Quote (RFQ) or Solicitation.
