Description
PURPOSE: The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to conduct market research which will be used to formulate an acquisition strategy to provide an audiovisual maintenance contract to be administered by the Combat Visual Information Center (CVIC) (Combat Camera), Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA. The Regional Contracting Office-National Capital Region (RCO-NCR) is requesting responses from all concerns. The qualifying code for this effort is NAICS 811219. The Combat Visual Information Center (CVIC)/Combat Camera is responsible for the administration of the Audiovisual Maintenance Contract to provide on-site maintenance, repair services, preventive maintenance on all equipment, emergency on-call audiovisual services, equipment installation and engineering support services to ensure uninterrupted, high quality performance of the Marine Corps Closed Circuit Instructional Television System(s) and related audiovisual equipment/components and presentation systems situated at various locations aboard the Marine Corps Base (MCB), Quantico, VA. Objectives for the requirement include: (1) On-site maintenance; (2) Repair services (preventative, routine and emergency); (3) Equipment installation; (4) Engineering support services; and (5) An on-site, government provided repair facility with dedicated test equipment for use as a workshop and storage area. Responses to this RFI shall not exceed ten (10) pages, including cover letter and contact information. Subject response must contain: (1) Capability statement sufficient to demonstrate performance acumen directly related to the objectives of CVIC; (2) Citation of any current, or past customers (i.e., within the past 2 years) to include contract number, point of contact, telephone number or e-mail address; (3) Current commercial price listing showing labor categories and hourly pricing; and (4) other material relevant to establishing core competencies of the firm. Response is due by 2:00 PM EST on Monday, 28 February 2011. Please submit e-mail responses to Wanda Wichmann at e-mail address Wanda.Wichmann@usmc.mil. NOTE: Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these services or to issue a solicitation. No solicitation documents exist at this time. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this RFI and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Any information the Contractor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such.
