Solicitation No. F11PS00407Request for QuoteRegion 3, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; request for quotations (RFQ) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Statement of Work: Region 3, of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has a requirement to remove debris and cleanup an Equipment Storage Building that suffered heavy smoke and heat damage. The Scope of Work also includes the cleanup of smoke damaged equipment currently in the building. Description of building: Building is a Ceco metal framed building, 60' wide x 100' long with 18' eave height and 27' ridge height. Building contained heavy equipment and small power equipment as listed, and numerous storage shelves with their contents of miscellaneous parts and supplies. Due to a recent fire in the building, there is significant smoke and heat damage to the building insulation and electrical system (no heat or lights remain) and contents. Temporary heat and lights will need to be brought in to accommodate the cleaning tasks. There is no water source within approximately 2,500 feet of the building. Building cleanup includes:Removal of debris,, sweeping of floor (100" x 60' storage building), and discarding of unsalvageable material shall be the responsibility of the contractor. Floor shall be washed/cleaned after equipment has been removed and building has been is cleared of any/all debris. Debris will be removed from the premises and disposed of per per state, county, and local codes. A trailer will be provided by the refuge for collection of recyclable material. All laminated insulation shall be cut and trim prior to removal. After cleaning, each piece of equipment will be removed from building by staff. Contractor may choose to complete both building and equipment cleanup simultaneously. Building will be open for cleanup from 7:30 AM to 4PM each weekday.
