Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst New Jersey intends to procure 20 sheets of Polycast NVG Compatible Display/Monitor Filter Material for large surveillance monitors in sheets 24"x 6" x 125" P/N PC125NP (N507). The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Spartech Polycast, Samford CT under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(C)(1) AS IMPLEMENTED BY far 6.302-1, this firm is considered to be the only supplier of this item in sheets large enough for large surviellance monitors. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider all responses received within 15 days after the date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
